Ruleset v3.0 : new direction, android game incoming ??


I'm resuming devlopment on my card game ! Past month i went back to the drawing board and tested my game again, and i think what came out is better and more solid.

* First of all, and biggest change of all: Clarisse Cycle 3.0 will be a single player game only. I realized building a city in coop is not the easiest thing to do, and the fact that it's being destroyed every turn makes it even harder to implement.

* But multiplayer isn't entirely out of the way, and that will be the second biggest chance to the Ruleset. Clarisse Cycle is now score based ! well, more heavily score based. Which means solo players will be able to compare their performances with each other. I'm still struggling to find the perfect scoring system, one which will make counting points easy and uneventful, while keeping the current flow of the building and recycling, but i'm pretty confident i'm on the right track.

The main goal is still to make the city of Clarisse live through as many cycles as possible, ressources can still be lost, but since the control is in the hands of a single player now, mcuh more thought can be put into each decision. Which currently makes for -i think- a pretty pleasant ressource management/memory/planification game.

In the meantime, attached to this post are two sketches for card designs. Nothing is set in stone, but i'd really like to have beautiful mashups of textures: wood, stone, iron and glass being the main ones probably.

Oh and maybe the game will be released for free on Android, and made available on the F-Droid store ?? fingaz crossed, wish me good luck 🤞
